Animal Abuse

 In our last post, we discussed hunting laws and the legal difference between hunting and animal abuse. Now, let's discuss a law that is violated even more-so than prior laws that we have discussed, like lack of child support- animal abuse.

Unlike many other law violations, animal abuse goes much deeper than just hating animals. AS a matter of fact, most serial killers start out by intentionally killing animals and beating women. Clearly, this is a big indication that something psychologically isn't right.

Although anyone with a moral compass would see that animal abuse is an evil act, we tend to be unaware of animal rights laws in Pennsylvania; several people tend to have to mindset of- "if you care about animals you're crazy, you're overly sensitive. It's not like they killed a person." Well you're deflecting, and our legal system will ensure you that Pennsylvania take animal protection very serious, whether you think killing an animal is evil or just twisted.

Below are some guidelines that may help us bring animals justice.

ANIMAL PROTECTION LAWSThe law in Pennsylvania is- Cruelty to Animals 18Pa.C.S.A. SIGNS OF ABUSE

• A dog or cat chained in a yard for long periods of time. People get away with killing their animals by leaving them out in heat or frigid cold everyday.
• Owning several animals including dogs, bunnies, birds, etc. This is most likely an animal hoarder, which is often mistaken for an animal lover.
• Seeing a person scream at a dog or a cat.
• Witnessing someone threaten their animal.
• Seeing an animal in the car for a long period of time, especially with the windows shut.
• Encountering a violet animal- Pit Bulls are not born mean.

WHAT TO DO

• Call the ASPCA or any animal rights organization in your area.
• Call 911.
• Notify the police.
• Call a lawyer for legal advice.
• Contact no kill shelters. They may assist you if you are nervous about taking action.
• Remember: you can file a complaint anonymously.
• ACT FAST. If you have a suspicion that an animal is being abused, follow your instincts.
